May it reflect the state of our hearts as we choose to do life with one another.

 

A kind word can save a life. To an audience of one seeks to create the ripple effect by giving us an opportunity to focus on the one. The one who needs a compliment. The one who needs to be reminded she is worthy. The one who desires to know he is loved. To the one who has hurt another and seeks forgiveness. To the one who feels useless because they fall short. Or to the one we want to remind is needed.

 

When you drop a small pebble in the water a ripple effect begins from the energy of one small rock. I hope to inspire us to drop the one pebble and allow love and intention to slowly build. Over time we will begin to see the ripple of change as we focus on others more than ourselves.

 

 

The thought behind the card:

 

I hold a passion for people. I believe there are few coincidences in our timing of being in the same space as someone else. I dream of a place where bullying is the anomaly and kindness is the majority. These cards create a space in our fast-paced digital world to slow down and offer a way to engage. Along with using my own handwriting, I carefully designed each card based on the psychology and symbolism of color to visually connect the words written on each card.  I hope every card builds a new story for both the person who chooses to give and the one who receives. I hope for stories of redemption, renewal, kindness, love, motivation, empathy, connection and positivity to arise from each moment a person chooses to give a card to another person. The back of the card, left intentionally blank, provides the option to share a personal note.

 

May we fall back into the innocence of passing notes to one another with the added wisdom of knowing we all need encouragement and reminders of purpose in a life that remains full of speedbumps and hurdles. Victory in life tastes sweet, but relationships and love will always be sweeter.

 

I daydream about the day this project takes on a life of its own and these pages are filled with stories from those whose lives have been altered because of the kindness of another. This project is about you.
